CARTOONIST OF THE WEEK: PAT BAGLEY

The Salt Lake Tribune's editorialist Pat Bagley recently came under fire from retired US military when his cartoon questioned George Bush's military service record (where IS that, by the way?).

"it implies that President Bush's service in the in the Guard was without risk. Those with even a passing knowledge of aviation would know that strapping your rear end to a single-engine jet fighter is an activity of considerable risk. This President Bush routinely did while flying F-102 fighters in the Air National Guard."

Pat's the subject of our Cartoonist Of The Week, where Cartoon Australia searches the Net, takes their pick of the world's cartooning hotshots and offers them up for your delectation and amusement.
Oh, and we ask their permission to show their work here, too.

Bagley's excellent style and incisive comment puts him (IMHO) in the top percentile of the US's political cartoon commentators.
