Baldur's Gate 3 DLC Not Off the Table, Larian Explains How They'd Approach It

Larian doesn't completely rule out a Baldur's Gate 3 DLC, and even explains how it can feature a new protagonist, antagonist and more.

Have not even started the main campaign...work has me weighed down.

I hear you. I'm not that far into it either, but the game is good and I would be all over a DLC.

I would preorder it right now if I could.

Fix all the ridiculous bugs and performance issues before diverting your attention to more content!!! Larian should be ashamed of themselves for releasing the game in its current state. Like CDPR (but maybe not to the same extent), they're all about the quick cash now; no fucking ethics to release a complete refined product. FFS---how were these issues not addressed in Early Access? My gf and I lose control of our character actions at some point every time we play! And then there's the sound cutting out. Basic fundamental control and engine operation. Game has a great deal of promise, but its review scores should have been substantially docked for the bugfest! It's an 85/100 at best in its current state.

Hmmm in my first playthrough as Dark Urge I got barely any bugs. Maybe one or two in act 3. But then again I might have shortened some storylines by killing most people.
In my second playthrough I had one soundbug in act 1 so far, where the narrator sound would not play anymore, which got solved after restart. So personally I did not really encounter anything that would warrant a comparison to cyberpunk 2077 at launch.
Maybe there are more bugs when you play in co-op?

“ Loved DOS and DOS2, and was super excited about BG3 until I found out there won't be a physical disc release on PS5. I won't be buying it now. What a shame.”

This aged well mate 😂

I wondered who would catch that, LOL! Truth be told though: it was my gal who bought it because she's huge into traditional D&D and isn't as opposed to a digital/subscription lifestyle as me. I will still only buy a future physical release (Japanese or otherwise).

The game ruined date night. It should get a 50/100 just for that or even less. I gave you an upvote.
