Great catch. I have never played borderlands, but now I own the entire trilogy! I have borderlands 1 on BC. For story continuity, would you play 1-pre-2 ? Or does it not matter?
Actually it should be totally free, because you buy it for 0€. You don't need to buy those free weekend titels. Those you can just download... well at least this it how it was in the past.
Play 2 first. Coming from someone whosr favorite gaming franchise is Borderlands, the pre sequel sucks. There are a few nice things about it, but not many.
I have a feeling if you start with the pre sequel, you'll hate it and you'll think it's an accurate representation of what a Borderlands game is. It's not, it's just a bad game.
Don't let the 1 bad game in the franchise spoil your opinion on the rest.
The best part of the pre sequel is the claptrap dlc, which is actually good, I'd recommend playing that, I enjoyed it more than the game itself.
Well.....MS put it up on their store with only the word "Free". No asterisk or conditions. Just Free. If it expires after the weekend then that is some pretty crappy false advertising.

Here I was thinking I got a free game. I wouldnt have wasted the data..but oh well. Im sure it will be on sale for Black Friday digital sale in a few weeks, will just buy key then.

Its is free. I got this pop up on Wed. It said these games are ready to install. I never requested it or asked for it, How ever I have been playing it for 3 days now. So it can't be a weekend promo or anything like that.
