Current-gen Call of Duty: Ghosts features 'most' of the PS4 & Xbox One tech

of course it will run the same on the PS3 and Xbox360. because it isnt a next gen game in any way whatsoever

some places it look like a ps3 360 game and some other it looks great, especially in that forest like map, the grass, the lightning, the textures, the weapon models look all amazing

it's not graphically as amazing as bf or kz shadow fall of course but it still look good especially the single player trailer

in the end all nextgen games look good, there's nothng to complain,no game looks ugly, i think we passed that "ugly" point, heck even if u play kz 2 ,3 halo 4, last of us and gears 3, they still look freakin awesome

nextgen will expose bad developers because the gfx is more than enough, the gameplay is where it's at and CoD imo has better gameplay than bf and kz (still great games)

kz's enemy shooting feel is second to non, the best in the industry, i can't wait for shadow fall

bf's startegy and destruction is great but i don't like the look and feel of bf4, bad company 2 was the best bf game ever

and CoD has the best gameplay/fun, single player, multuplayer, story, characters, soundtrack, replay value, that's why CoD sells, so imo CoD and Halo are a lot better than kz and bf

It's a matter of how you like to play.
CoD is made for the casual shooter fans. It's easy to understand and play and is made for a younger generation and so guys can hop on and play with friends more or less.

Battlefield was designed for a older audience. Who appreciate realism, game play that reflects real warfare and more or less hard-core gamers

Just my opinion..

I'm just not into CoD much these days cause I'm just sick of the 14 year Olds who trash talk me by calling me a 'poopy head' cause they got a few more kills then me.
Battlefeild gives you the authenticity of full scale warfare, and a sense of was true war is.

But! Because of xbox ones exclusive new margarine features I shan't have to listen to those preteen shit heads anymore :)

Sales on Ghosts will suffer greatly; major factors would be the release of next-gen consoles, people are buying other games for the real next-gen (from COD underwhelming graphics), people who are planning to buy Ghosts on next-gen are saving up for next-gen consoles, and would not buy it for current-gen which will also slow down the sales rate.

Sales undeniably would drop, and anti-COD fans would rejoice saying COD is not as popular, forgetting the major factors. But still statistically, COD would still be the most played game online. Don't trust me, trust the statistics in the future, similar to what it is today. I'm just saying the way it is.

No thanks. It's Killzone and Battlefield for me this year as far as fps' go.

I was really disappointed from the graphical standpoint... Gears of War 3, uncharted 3, killzone 3, etc look far better than the next gen version of ghosts.

But still gameplay over graphics anyday

I was wondering if the footage they showed during the reveal was from Xbox 360 or Xbox One. Looked very current, more baby steps than leaps for next gen.

My main point is though, the next gen release should be the same price as current gen if nothing much is different other than bloody achievements and your dog has a better looking coat of fur. Don't see why it should cost another £10 to £15 quid

Question, I was holding off on preordering COD due to not knowing what system to get it for to be able to play with my friends. My buddy says that as far as Xlive goes it doesnt matter if I were to get it for the xone I'd still be able to play with ppl who own it on 360 the way halo 2 was with xbox and 360. Is this true for Ghosts or is he a total idiot?

People who really like COD won't have any problems with this game. They know it's not about looks but about the multiplayer experience. It's not anything new, but this game will always bring friends together because that's what it's good for.
