Madden NFL 24 Sees More Players and Games Played in Launch Week Year-over-Year and Now Welcomes PlayStation® and Xbox Players to Participate in Free Trial This Weekend
F EA. No competition means no buy. No play. Will never buy their sports games ever again. I'll play 2D and 3D retro sports games before ever touching their games. It's a drop in the bucket but enough for me.
This isn't really worth noting. Digital only is the way of the future for casual game fans. Expect next year's Madden to sell even more digital copies.
I'm 55 yrs old and play 10 hours each day. Hardly casual, my friends call me hardcore.. Me myself see me as a "gamer". I bought 4 games physical during the 2014-2020 PS4 / Pro generation and the rest digital... About 480 games in total. More convenient to be honest. Same with PS5, digital only, and it's the best way to enjoy PSVR1 +2. Big SSD and just PLAY. And here in Sweden so many buy digital that the common stores only sell PS5 hardware to 99%. Says alot doesn't it?! 🤷✌️But I agree, digital is the future, like it or not. We just need to regain ownership of games and not just a license to play the game. But that is up to us gamers to stand up for what we actually buy/spend our money on!

Only fools still support Madden so it makes sense those type of people would choose Digital over Physical.
