For me, it was around the 5/6 hr mark when it started coming together and the intrigue set it. Also about the time I started to actually grasp the controls and interface. Learning curve for sure.
That’s not too bad. Reasonable to me. Days Gone took around that maybe a little more where it started to get really good though a different type of game. More than 10 hours is too slow of a burn generally
That’s about right. By the time I got my bearings with the controls & different systems things started to feel really good.
So far the setting is right up my alley, I’m loving the story & character stories. Intrigue definitely sets in. The voice acting is very good & the narrator is superbly well voiced. Didn’t know I missed turned based that much :)
I remember originally playing horizon zero dawn and never getting into it. Quitting multiple times. But one day I decided I will give the game a chance and after 5+ hour mark the game was good
Days gone is a game I never got into and I think I need to do the same
After I’m done with Armored Core 6 , Remnant 2 (working on plat) and Trails games I’ll buy Baldurs Gate3 . I wish they had physical though. I’ll hold out long as I can and hope to hear something by then.
I wonder how many hours do you have to play before it gets good?
GotY is going to be between this and Zelda TotK.
