Edge:It almost seems a little cruel for the disparity in native resolution between the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Call Of Duty: Ghosts to have overshadowed the release of the game. The man hours that have gone into the release of the game – across PC, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 in the next month – must have been extraordinary.
We've already spotted the difference. PS4 looks better. It's not hard to see at all.
The real question is why 720p and why $500?
"So I think people will see the new game and think ‘wow it looks great' "
I have to ask, does anyone here think Call of Duty looks 'great'?
Oh and this is very interesting:
"We might get more resources back at one point. And that could make things change dramatically for the Xbox One, for instance."
So MS' decision to allocate resources to the OS have already played a big part (negatively as far as resolution is concerned). MS better hope that their gamble has paid off.

Hahahaha. It wouldn't look good in 4k, let alone 720p. It looks awful. Flat textures, lifeless environments, poor lighting, dull colour palette, awful character models.

Really! Maybe they should of focused on making a game that doesn't look (early)last gen! Or trying to release on so many platforms that it sucks overall! 4hr campaign? Come on people! You reap what you sow.....
